Visits to the vineyards of Saint-Emilion

The tour throughout the vineyards on the little tourist train, the visit at the Château Rochebelle and its monolith cellars, the wine tasting followed by lunch at the auberge of the Chateau, make The Train des Grands Vignobles, the wine tourism leader in Bordeaux.

Train + Visit of the Château Rochebelle : 15 €

At the end of your 35 minutes train ride, you will be looked after upon arrival and guided to Château Rochebelle, for a private 2 hours tour around the estate.

Over the comments, you will understand the wine-grower passion and dedication for his wine, from the work of the vine to the wine-making, and then by maturing the wine in new oak barrels resting in stunning 18th century monolithic cellars. A magnificent light display will make you wonder of old times. A great experience !

At the end of the visit you will enjoy a commented tasting, with the opportunity to purchase all available vintages at cellar door prices: A privilege in Saint-Emilion !

Epicurean day tour : 47 €
These two days are reserved only for groups.
With the Epicurean day, you will enjoy the Petit Train tour to discover the vineyards of Saint-Emilion, followed by a visit of Château Rochebelle and its magnificent monolith cellars. A tasting of a vintage of this Grand Cru will be commented.

A delightful meal, served at the auberge of the Chateau and matched by one of its wines, will beautifully complement the day.

With the Saint-Emilionnais day, only the meal is different, since you can enjoy luxury products such as foie gras, duck breast and rib-eye steaks grilled on local vine shoots.


Saint-Emilionnaise day tour: 53 €
The Saint-Emilionnaise day is the the same as those of the Epicurean day.
Only the food is different because you can taste local products such as foie gras, duck breast and grilled entrecôte on the vine shoot.

The Grands Vignobles train welcomes you from the beginning of April to 11 November

Be present at least 15 minutes before the departure of the train.

  • Stroll commented : 35 minutes
  • Midterm, a visit of hollow monolith and a tasting will be proposed to you : 1:20
  • No visits to Château Rochebelle for departures to 12:45 pm, 17:45 and 6:30 pm
