This package is scheduled to take place between the hours of 10.30am and 3pm and offers visitors the following:
– A guided tour by small tourist train of the appellation’s most prestigious châteaux, including Château Rochebelle, a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé, where a guided tour is given of the vat room and its stunning 18th century monolithic caves, which are enhanced by the cellars’ beautiful interplays of light and their glass pyramid.
At the end of the 35-minute tour, as you get off the train, you are met and guided to Château Rochebelle for a complete tour.
– An introduction to wine tasting is given with a tasting of a vintage of this Grand Cru Classé in the château’s specially designed tasting area with its panoramic view of the Dordogne valley.
